Carpenter’s first forays into fashion began in the late 2010’s. At New York Fashion Week in Sept. 2015, the 16-year-old actress attended Alice + Olivia‘s spring 2016 presentation at Skylight at Clarkson Square in a sharp pair of smooth black pumps. The pointed-toe set added a formal finish to her outfit for the occasion, designed by Stacey Bendet: a butterfly-printed miniskirt and sparkly gold top, layered beneath a draped black blazer.
At the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, Carpenter sleekly stepped out at Radio City Music Hall in a nude pair of Christian Louboutin’s So Kate pumps. The pointed, glossy leather style was elevated with a shimmering silver cutout dress from Versace’s fall 2013 collection. Carpenter’s look was given a luxe finish with a gleaming diamond ring and stud earrings from Harry Kotlar.
Carpenter continued her penchant for sharp pumps during New York Fashion Week in 2021, stepping out for Michael Kors‘ spring 2022 runway show. For the occasion, the actress struck a pose in white leather pointed-toe pumps. The neutral set added a retro flair to her monochrome front-row look, naturally by Kors: a ruby red ribbed knit turtleneck minidress, layered beneath a glossy, smooth trench coat.
During Republic Records’ afterparty for the 2022 VMAs, Carpenter soared in a towering pair of white leather Valentino pumps with pointed toes, platform soles and soaring 6-inch heels.
